Fascia and Soffit

Osprey fascia and soffits are produced in a range of sizes to match the requirements of your property and with a choice of styles and colours we can create that extra special impression.

Timber fascia and soffits are removed and the new fascias are attached with 65mm stainless steel ring shanked nails, which have plastic heads to match the finish of the fascia. Soffits are usually screwed down onto the fascia board from above avoiding any visible fixings. PVCu noggins are used to secure the back edge of the soffit.

Bargeboards cover the gable end rafters of your home, which is usually the most exposed to weathering. Timber bargeboards can often be seen cracking and the paint flaking. Replacement PVCu bargeboard will not flake or crack and with expert fitting will last for years and years with minimal maintenance.

Finishing touches to the gable end can make the job extra special. A finial is the specially made decorative trim which covers and seals the joint between two bargeboards where they meet at the apex of the gable. Also a properly made 'box' to cover the section between bargeboard and fascia board is essential for both an aesthetic finish and weather proofing.

We also offer a range of tile cappings (dri-verge) which cover and protect the gable end tiles and mortar joints.

Guttering and Downpipes

Gutters are available in arrange of styles and colours. Half round or half square profiles. 'Deepflow' high capacity gutters are available in half round, or for a stylish high capacity alternative we have 'ogee' style gutters.

Traditional or older properties might benefit from cast iron effect guttering and downpipes which offers an authentic aged appearance.

Osprey Windows also supply and fit a range of gutters suitable for commercial applications.

Shiplap or v-groove are the most commonly used types of PVCu cladding and are available in 100mm (4inch) and 150mm (6inch) sizes. (Shiplap should not be confused with hollow soffit, which is cellular and not as robust as necessary for cladding).

Standard colours are white, mahogany, rosewood and golden oak.
